CyberSmart: Cyber Awareness & Safety

The internet is a great place to learn, connect, and create. It also has risks, and every student should know how to handle them. Kidbot’s CyberSmart workshop gives students the skills to stay safe, confident, and responsible online. Through discussions, live demos, and real-world scenarios, students learn how to spot phishing attempts, recognize suspicious links, create stronger passwords, and protect their personal information. They’ll also learn what a digital footprint is, and how to respond if they or someone they know faces cyberbullying. We’ll also cover safe social media habits, online privacy, and the simple but powerful habit of thinking before you click, share, or post. The goal isn’t to make students afraid of technology. It’s to help them use the internet wisely, make smart choices, and know when to ask for help if something online doesn’t feel right.
